Olympiacos Returns with 5th Place and a Medal from the Dream Euro Cup

Olympiacos has completed its participation in the Dream Euro Cup, which took place in Rome, Italy, with inclusion playing a central role. The tournament was organized through programs supported by the European Commission and Erasmus+.
Our team traveled to the Italian capital with the valuable support of the non-profit cooperative "EDRA" and gipedaki.gr. Olympiacos secured 5th place in the futsal tournament, where 12 countries participated. The aim of the tournament was to unite individuals with mental health challenges, promoting their social inclusion in each country.
In terms of competition, Germany defeated the Czech team in the 3rd place match, while the final saw the host Italians face Hungary. The Italians emerged victorious, lifting the trophy in a packed stadium.
The tournament was supported and funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program, taking place during the European Week of Sport, “Be Active.”
On the final day, a seminar was held by representatives from each participating country, discussing mental health issues and how individuals facing such challenges can benefit from sports.

Qualification to the "Top 8" on the third day of the Dream Euro Cup

Olympiacos continued its obligations in the Dream Euro Cup tournament, which is being held in Rome, Italy, through programs of the European Commission and Erasmus+.
 
Our team, which is in the Italian capital with the valuable support and assistance of the Urban Non-Profit Cooperative "EDRA" and gipedaki.gr, faced the national team of Estonia on the third and final day of the group stage. The team won 4-3, securing 6 points and advancing to the quarterfinals.

Now, the Greek national team, represented by Olympiacos in the quarterfinals, will face the Hungarian national team on Thursday, September 26, at 11:00 a.m. Greek time.

The tournament is supported and funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program and is taking place in conjunction with the European Week of Be Active.

Inclusion in the Spotlight on the Second Day of the Dream Euro Cup

The competitive obligations in the Dream Euro Cup tournament, which is being held in Rome, Italy, through the programs of the European Commission and Erasmus+, continued for Olympiacos.
Our team, which is in the Italian capital with the valuable support and assistance of the Non-Profit Urban Cooperative "EDRA," as well as gipedaki.gr, faced the generally acknowledged strongest team of the tournament, Germany, on the second day. Despite the defeat, our players gained significant experiences regarding inclusion for people with mental disorders.

Nevertheless, with its victory in the opener, Olympiacos still holds second place in the group and has increased chances of advancing to the next phase of the tournament.
 
It should be noted that 12 countries from Europe are participating in the Dream Euro Cup matches, with Greece being represented by Olympiacos. This particular tournament aims to unite individuals with mental disorders, promoting their social inclusion in every country.

On Wednesday, September 25th, Olympiacos will face Estonia at 16:00 Greek time.

Victorious Start at the Dream Euro Cup

Olympiacos started its campaign in the best possible way at the Dream Euro Cup tournament, which is being held in Rome as part of the European Commission and Erasmus+ program. Our team, which is in the Italian capital with significant support from the Non-Profit Civic Cooperative "Edra," triumphed in its first match, winning 6-3 against the Estonian National Team and securing three points in its opening game.

It should be noted that 12 European countries are participating in the Dream Euro Cup, with Greece represented by Olympiacos. This tournament is organized with the goal of bringing together individuals with mental health disorders, promoting their social inclusion in every country.

The tournament is supported and funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program and is being held as part of the European Be Active week.
On Tuesday, September 24th, our team will face the German National Team at 11:30 AM Greek time.

All set for the Dream Euro Cup

Olympiacos is ready to compete in another great celebration of sport. Part of our team will depart on Sunday morning, September 22nd for Rome, Italy, in order to compete in the Dream Euro Cup. Our club continues to pioneer and participate in the European Commission's programs through Erasmus+, who are the main organizers of the games. Together with the Italian Government and the Italian Ministry of Sport.
 
The games will take place from 23/9 to 28/9, with Olympiacos representing Greece. Apart from our country, teams from a total of 12 countries will take part in this event.
 
This particular tournament is held in order to unite people with mental disorders, but also to integrate them even more into the society of each country.
 
Our country and consequently Olympiacos actively participates in the European programs of the European Commission and Erasmus+, aiming to promote the social integration and empowerment of people with mental disorders, offering them through sports opportunities for education, training and personal development through the exchange of views and experiences at European level.
