HEALTHY

Introduction

The HEALTHY – Multisport clubs promoting physical activity as a tool for a HEALTHY life project is a European initiative implemented under the Erasmus+ Sport 2025 programme, aiming to promote healthy lifestyles through physical activity and social participation. Through the cooperation of sports organizations from Bulgaria, Greece, and Hungary, the project encourages citizens of all ages to adopt a more active and healthier way of life. At the same time, it promotes environmental awareness, equality, and sustainable development through sports and educational activities designed to improve both physical well-being and social inclusion.

Project Summary

The HEALTHY project is implemented through the cooperation of three sports organizations from Bulgaria, Greece, and Hungary and is funded by the Erasmus+ Sport 2025 programme. The project duration is 12 months, with a total budget of €60,000. Its main objective is to promote physical activity as a tool for improving citizens’ health and quality of life.

Within the framework of the project, sports and educational activities will be organized in open public spaces, involving approximately 900 citizens regardless of age, gender, or social background. In parallel, 30 coaches and 10 volunteers will receive specialized training in order to continue implementing the project activities even after the project’s completion. The project also includes an awareness campaign on healthy living and environmental protection through digital materials and QR codes. Finally, an electronic guideline of good practices will be developed and made freely available to sports organizations and all interested stakeholders, ensuring the sustainability and long-term impact of the project.
