Handball International Education Project
Program Description :
The "Handball International Education Project" aims to increase youth participation in sports, focusing on handball, one of the world’s most popular team sports, with over 20 million players globally. Given that less than 45% of the European population engages in regular physical activity and that childhood obesity rates are high, this program seeks to encourage youth involvement in sports and promote physical activity. Additionally, the project aims to create an educational digital platform to train coaches, enhancing their skills and promoting sustainability in sports.
Activities and Initiatives:
- Development of a digital educational platform with training materials and guidelines for coaches.
- Promotion of inclusion and diversity in sports for children and youth.
- Creation of a guide with examples and tips to promote sustainable practices in sports.
Project Objectives:
- Increase participation of children and youth in sports through handball.
- Address the challenges of the digital era by enhancing digital education in sports.
- Promote health, education, and sustainability through sports.
