Road to Olympics
Program Description:
The "Road to Olympics" program aims to enhance the mental and cognitive readiness of high-level athletes, with a focus on Ukrainian athletes who face challenges due to the current situation in their country. The program will adapt the cognitive and mental methodology of the International Center to meet the needs of participants, with the goal of strengthening their skills and performance. As part of the project, athletes and coaches will participate in two training camps – first in Spain and then in Greece – for intensive training. The project will be scientifically evaluated, and guidelines for mental and cognitive training in sports will be developed and disseminated at a European level to highlight the importance of these aspects in sports.
Activities and Initiatives:
- Providing advanced mental and cognitive training for high-level athletes.
- Organizing training camps in Spain and Greece with the participation of Ukrainian athletes and coaches.
- Creating and disseminating guidelines for mental training in sports, accessible across Europe.
Project Objectives:
- Develop athletes' mental and cognitive resilience for international competitions.
- Support Ukrainian athletes by offering mental and cognitive training and enhancing their skills.
- Promote positive values and mental health in sports, fostering a model of healthy competition.
